One of our initial focuses on Church Growth Consulting was to show people how to get their church websites and web ministries to get noticed by the search engines. We wrote a lot of articles on SEO and the things you can do to help your site cooperate with Google, Yahoo, and MSN. A few months ago we started a couple of different sites site to take over that aspect of the site, one of them is Church Webmaster, and the other is Web Ministry. This site is now all about church growth and church growth ideas.

We did hit an SEO milestone today on this site, however, and we wanted to document the event. This site is now showing up on page 1 in position 1 for a Google search of Church Growth Consulting. The site has been on page 1 for a while but this is its first visit to position 1. Our hope is that it will be able to maintain this position and then we will focus on getting the same sort of result for the keyword “church growth”.
